Probationary Contract. A two-year appointment which may be terminated without cause upon expiration of the probationer's term of employment, but which may be terminated in accordance with Article 4.08, prior to the expiration of his/her term of employment. Termination during the two-year contract shall be in accordance with Article 4.08. Termination at the end of the probationary term shall be in accordance with Article 4.06.
Probationary Contract a. Each individual newly hired as instructional personnel and returning retirees hired by the district school board shall be awarded a probationary contract. Probationary contracts expire one day prior to the first day of pre-planning for the subsequent school year. Upon successful completion of the probationary contract and reappointment, the district school board shall award an annual contract to newly hired teachers and to re-employed retirees.
Probationary Contract. Beginning July 1, 2011, each individual newly hired as a teacher by the Board shall be awarded a probationary contract for a period of one (1) school year, as established in Florida Statutes. A probationary contract shall be awarded regardless of previous employment in another school district or state.

On or before April 15, the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources or their designee shall notify in writing probationary teachers whose contracts will not be renewed. The Associate Superintendent of Human Resources or designee will provide the HNEA president a list of probationary teachers whose contracts will not be renewed ten (10) days prior to notifying the probationary teacher. Upon request the notice shall include a concise statement of the reason or reasons for nonrenewal. Probationary teachers not notified before April 15 shall be employed for the next school year under the terms of the contract for the preceding year. Probationary teachers who are informed of re-election by written notice shall be tendered a contract on or before May 15, and shall provide written notices of acceptance or rejection within 15 calendar days of receiving the contract. If the fifteenth calendar day falls on a non-work day, acceptance or rejection must be received by the second work day following the fifteenth calendar day. Failure to provide notice within this period is a rejection of the Board of Education's offer. Any teacher employed under a part-time contract by the district shall accrue credit toward permanent status on a prorated basis.
Probationary Contract. A faculty member will be given a probationary contract for each year of the first three (3) years of employment. During probationary appointment, a faculty member may be released subject to the provisions for releasing probationary faculty described below.
Probationary Contract. A teacher in his/her fourth or subsequent year of employment in the District, whose work is not satisfactory, may be placed on one year's probation upon the recommendation of administrators and approval by the School Board. In such case, the teacher shall remain at the same salary for the year just completed. A teacher may be placed on probation not to exceed one year.
Probationary Contract. Employees will be subject to a ninety (90) workday probationary period when initially hired. During their probationary period, employees may be terminated at any time, with or without just cause. If an employee is retained beyond their probationary period, the Board and the employee shall enter into a one-year limited contract which shall expire on the first June 30 occurring after the parties enter into the one-year contract. If the Board elects to renew this one-year limited contract, the employee will enter into a two-year limited contract. If, at the conclusion of the two- year contract, the Board determines to renew the employee’s employment, the employee and the Board shall enter into a continuing contract. This section expressly overrides R.C. 3319.081(C). ARTICLE SEVEN TRANSFERS AND VACANCIES
