General subject to Section 5 and the provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta) (the "Act"), the Series B Preferred Shares shall be redeemed by the Corporation on the earlier of (i) the Second Closing Date as defined in the Purchase Agreement dated October 6, 1995 between Forest Oil Corporation and the Corporation and (ii) six months from the date of original issue (the earlier of which dates is the "redemption date"), but not otherwise.
