Graduation Ceremony Clause Samples

Graduation Ceremony. The Union shall encourage voluntary participation among bargaining unit personnel in the graduation ceremony. If insufficient volunteers are found, then bargaining unit members may be required to participate on a rotating basis. In any case, no bargaining unit member may be required to participate more often than one (1) time every three (3) years. Any teacher required to participate shall receive at least two (2) calendar weeks notice. Any teacher required to participate who demonstrates a legitimate conflict with the ceremony date and time shall be excused from this duty; in this case, a replacement teacher may be required to participate with less than the two (2) calendar weeks notice.
Graduation Ceremony. An employee may be granted leave of up to ½ day to attend a graduation ceremony from an appropriate course of study. Evidence of the ceremony should accompany the leave application.
Graduation Ceremony. In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, a student must have completed the State of Montana and CJI Public School's graduation requirements. Additionally, participation in CJI High School’s graduation ceremony is a PRIVILEGE and the trustees may deny a high school student the honor of participating in commencement (MCA 20-5-201).
