Group Insurance Preamble. Subject to the provisions of this agreement, the provisions of the FMLA and the group insurance plans established by this article, an employee on Leave of Absence may continue to participate in the group insurance plans. An employee choosing to continue participation shall pay the full monthly premium for such plan, commencing the first of the month after FMLA is exhausted or the first of the month after a non- FMLA leave commences.

Group Insurance Preamble. Subject to the provisions of this Agreement and the group insurance plans established by this article, a Nutrition Services employee on an unpaid leave of absence (LOA) may continue to participate in the group insurance plans. A Nutrition Services employee choosing to continue participation shall pay the full monthly premium for such plan, commencing on the date the unpaid LOA begins. For purposes of this article, "unpaid leave” means the Nutrition Services employee is no longer receiving a district paycheck for work performed, or the Nutrition Services employee is not receiving paid sick leave.

  • Group Insurance Plan The carriers, coverage, and terms and conditions of participation under the District’s Group Insurance Plan are subject to change in accordance with the applicable provisions of Title I, Division 4, Chapter 10 of the California Government Code (Section 3500 et seq.) (Xxxxxx‐Milias‐Brown Act).
