Group Life and Accident Insurance. The Board agrees to pay one hundred (100) percent of the premiums of the Group Life, Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan of $90,000.00 subject to meeting the qualifications of the carrier. The board agrees to increase this coverage to $100,000.00 providing a carrier can be found who will insure the support staff for the same rate as or a rate lower than the teacher’s coverage.

Group Life and Accident Insurance. Regular status Administrative Assistants may participate in the Group Life and Accident Insurance Program of the College. This Program shall provide basic term life insurance coverage of one times the employee's annual base salary for Administrative Assistants. The full cost of this coverage shall be paid by the Employer. In addition, optional coverage shall be available that provides insurance in $10,000 increments up to a maximum of $500,000. The entire premium cost of this optional coverage shall be paid by the employee. In the case of accidental death or dismemberment, this Program provides, during active employment, but not during retirement, an amount of additional insurance equivalent to the amount of the Employee's life insurance coverage. Regular status Administrative Assistants may participate at their own cost in the Personal Accident Insurance Plan.

  • Health and Accident Insurance Unit members shall continue to be covered under the State's Group Health and Accident Insurance plan currently in effect pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 32A of the General Laws as amended or as such plan may be made available under applicable law of the Commonwealth. Pre-tax treatment of group health insurance contributions shall be implemented as soon as is administratively feasible. Benefits shall not be provided to part-time employees except as required by law; provided that Colleges that decide to provide benefits to part-time employees will discuss that issue with the MCCC prior to implementation; provided further that any part-time employee currently receiving benefits shall not lose those benefits.

  • Sickness and Accident Insurance During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall pay the required premiums for each employee for sickness and accident insurance which will pay Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per week for a period of fifty-two (52) weeks. This benefit shall be payable from the thirty-first (31st) day of disability due to illness or injury.

  • Accident Insurance It is highly recommended that either the Sending Institution or the Receiving Organisation/Enterprise provide insurance coverage to the trainee, and fill in the information in Table B or C accordingly.   • Travel Accident Insurance We agree to provide you with Travel Accident Insurance at no direct cost to you. You, your spouse and unmarried dependent children will be automatically insured against accidental bodily injuries or death while riding in any aircraft or land or water conveyance operated by a common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire provided the full travel fare(s) has been charged to your Account. Death benefits will be paid to the estate of the insured; all other benefits will be paid to the insured. This insurance is subject to cancellation without prior notice.   • Personal Accident Insurance The Member is covered by policies of insurance which pay benefits in case of injury, death or dismemberment as the result of an accident. A certificate of insurance that explains the benefits provided by the policy will be given to the Member with this Membership Contract. Coverage provided by Individual Assurance Company of Xxxxxx, XX 00000.

  • Retirement Insurance A teacher retiring from the District and under the provisions of Teachers’ Retirement Association (TRA) is eligible to continue to participate in group insurance programs (health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, supplemental life insurance) as permitted under the insurance policy provisions provided the teacher pay the entire premium for such group insurance programs commencing with the beginning of the retirement (see District Website, Human Resources for specific coverage available). The teacher shall be responsible for paying the monthly premium amounts in advance and on such dates as determined by the District/third party administrator. The right to continue participation in such group insurance programs will discontinue upon the failure of the teacher to pay the premiums to the District/third party administrator, or the expiration of insurance availability under the insurance policy provisions. Since long-term disability insurance coverage replaces salary, and a retiree receives no salary, long-term disability insurance coverage is not available.

  • Group Insurance 38.01 The Group Insurance Plan presently in effect shall remain in effect during the term of this Agreement.

  • Group Term Life Insurance The School District will pay the full premium for each $1,000 of coverage for group term life insurance. The amount of life insurance provided will be $20,000, subject to the conditions of the carrier.

  • Term Life Insurance The Employer will maintain and make available to full-time and part-time employees, the current term life insurance plan as set forth in the document "Summary of Health Benefits, Maryland State Employees."
