Harassment Free Workplace. The Union and the Employer recognize the right of the employees to work in an environment free of harassment. Harassment can be psychological, verbal or physical or it can be a combination of these. It is any behavior, whether deliberate or negligent, which denies individuals their dignity and respect, is offensive, embarrassing or humiliating to the individual, and may adversely affect the working environment.

The Employer and the Union agree there will be no discrimination, interference, restraint, coercion exercised or practiced by the Employer, the Union, or any of their representatives with respect to any employee because of their connection with the Union or as a result of such employee exercising any of their rights under the Collective Agreement.
