Health Care Related — Insurance Committee. The Board and Union have a mutual interest in ensuring that employees and their families have the best benefits possible for the dollars spent on health care. Therefore, the Insurance Committee, comprised of representatives from all bargaining units and representatives from the finance department will meet at least quarterly to examine out health care plans to determine how to maximize cost efficiency and have a healthy workforce. The committee shall also investigate plan options and designs, and recommend any changes to be negotiated before the end of the current contract cycle.

  • Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program.
