Common use of HEALTH COVERAGE FOR SPOUSES Clause in Contracts

HEALTH COVERAGE FOR SPOUSES. (1) Spouses of employees who are employed or self-employed and are eligible to obtain health coverage through that employment or self-employment can be covered by the District’s plan but at increased rates of contribution by the employee, in addition to the contribution detailed in Section C above. The additional amount of contribution shall be $175.00 per month through December 31, 2018. Effective January 1, 2019, the additional amount of contribution shall be $350.00 per month for the duration of the Agreement.
