Health Reasons. 1. A teacher may be granted a leave of absence without pay for up to one (1) year for health reasons. Requests for such leave shall be supported by appropriate medical evidence. The person shall not be employed in any other full time position. 2. Any teacher whose personal illness extends beyond the period compensated shall be granted a leave of absence without pay for such time as is necessary for complete recovery from such illness.
