Common use of Highly Qualified Clause in Contracts

Highly Qualified. Paraprofessionals. Beginning September 1, 2009, all newly hired employees for the positions of Title I paraprofessional, Special Education paraprofessional, and Technology paraprofessionals will have at least an Associate degree in order to obtain a position in those classifications. The Board may require an additional assessment (mastery of Work Keys) at the cost of the applicant if it is felt that the applicant may not have adequate skill levels for a particular position.
