Weekend Scheduling It is the policy of the Employer to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have signed an authorization to work consecutive weekends. Nurses who have volunteered to work consecutive weekends may withdraw such authorization upon two (2) weeks’ written notice prior to the date a new schedule must be posted.
HOLIDAYS AND LEAVE For the purposes of leave provisions part-time employees working less than full-time or less than five days per week or less than 52 weeks per year receive a pro-rated entitlement.
Fridays and Saturdays You may opt to wear jeans and a t-shirt. However shorts, slippers, sandals / slippers are not considered appropriate on all working days. Unit Weekend Schedule A unit weekend schedule may be developed in order to meet the Hospital’s need for weekend staff, and individual nurses’ preference for a weekend work schedule. A unit weekend schedule is defined as a schedule in which a full-time nurse works a weekly average of thirty (30) hours and is paid for 37.5 hours at her or his regular straight time hourly rate. The schedule must include two 11.25 hour tours, which fall within a weekend period as determined by the Hospital and the Association. A nurse working a weekend schedule will work every weekend except as provided for in the provisions below. If the Hospital and the Association agree to a unit weekend schedule, the introduction of that schedule and the manner in which the position(s) are filled, shall be determined by the local parties and recorded in the Appendix of Local Provisions. This unit schedule may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined within the Appendix of Local Provisions. The opportunity for an individual nurse to discontinue this schedule shall be resolved by the local parties:
HOLIDAYS AND VACATION Executive shall be eligible for paid holiday and vacation time in accordance with Company policy as in effect from time to time and made available to Company’s senior management employees.
HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If work is performed on Buyer's premises, Buyer shall not be obligated to make any payments to Seller for days designated by Buyer as holidays or shutdown periods, except for work specifically authorized in writing by Xxxxx's Authorized Procurement Representative and performed by Seller on such days.
STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If statutory holidays, to which an employee is entitled with pay, occur within his or her vacation period, the employee shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each in lieu thereof.

Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.
