Holidays Recognized and Observed. The following nine (9) days shall be designated as holidays: New Year’s Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx. Day Presidents’ Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day After Thanksgiving Christmas Day Eligible employees shall receive pay for each of the holidays listed above, on which they perform no work. Whenever any of the listed holidays shall fall on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as the holiday. Whenever any of the listed holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday.
