Hospital Insurance During Leave. A tenured teacher who has been granted a leave of absence shall have a right to participate in the District’s insurance programs, provided said teacher applies for same in writing, the insurance carrier (s) concur(s), and the teacher makes timely payments for the full premiums. Premiums shall be payable beginning with the first full month of the leave until the first full month when the teacher returns to active employment.
