Host Country Laws. I understand that I am subject to the laws of the host country where I will study as well as the rules and regulations of my host campus. I also understand that it is my responsibility to be informed about the laws of the host country and to conduct myself in a manner that complies with those laws.
Host Country Laws. I understand that as a foreign citizen in Belize, I will be subject to the laws of that country. If I should be charged with any infraction of the laws of the host country, including possession of any illegal drugs, I will be immediately expelled from the Program. In the event that I am expelled from the program, I will not receive a refund of program fees or a transcript and will be responsible for my housing, transportation and all other expenses that I might incur. I also understand that should I have any legal problems in the host country, I will be responsible for any legal costs incurred as a result. CELA cannot provide legal counsel in such circumstances. I further understand that the United States Embassy or the diplomatic representatives of other countries cannot obtain my release from jail, but may be able to provide help in obtaining legal assistance.
Host Country Laws. The Student is subject to the authority and laws of the Host Country and must obey all laws and regulations. The Student is responsible for understanding that they are not exempt from prosecution under Host Country laws as a result of potential status as a citizen of any other country(s). The Student agrees not to hold AMIDEAST liable for any and all consequences that may result from the Student breaking the laws of the land. A Student who breaks any law(s) and/or regulation(s) of the Host Country may be dismissed from the Program.
