Common use of Hours of Work and Work Weeks Clause in Contracts

Hours of Work and Work Weeks. (a) Except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement, the normal work week shall be Monday to Friday. The normal hours of work shall consist of any eight (8) hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Except as otherwise provided in the Agreement, no eight (8) hour shift shall be spread over a period of longer than eight and one-half (8½) hours with one-half (½) hour off for lunch.
