Household Hazardous Waste. CONTRACTOR shall cooperate with AGENCY and MEMBERS in the conduct of hazardous waste collection days and related Public Awareness programs.

Household Hazardous Waste. Under this contract, work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fuel, and miscellaneous costs necessary for the removal, transportation, and disposal of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW). The contractor must agree to assume generator status and be responsible for preparing and signing all manifests related to the end user’s household hazardous collection and/or disposal facility. The removal, transportation, and disposal of HHW includes obtaining all necessary Local, State, and Federal Handling Permits and operating in accordance with all Local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies.
Household Hazardous Waste. “Household Hazardous Waste” means that waste resulting from products purchased by the general public for household use which, because of its quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may pose a substantial known or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly treated, disposed or otherwise managed, or, in combination with other Solid Waste, may be infectious, explosive, poisonous, caustic, toxic, or exhibit any of the characteristics of ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity, or toxicity as per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 11, Section 66261.3
Household Hazardous Waste. Any Hazardous Waste generated at residential premises within the County and delivered by the owner or occupant of such premises to a drop-off site, to include: 1. Dry cell household batteries, 2. Cell phones and PDAs, 3. Used motor oil, 4. Used oil filters when contained in a sealed plastic bag, 5. Compact fluorescent light bulbs contained in a sealed plastic bag, 6. Cleaning products, 7. Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, 8. Painting supplies, 9. Automotive products, 10. Solvents, 11. Stripes, and adhesives, 12. Auto batteries, 13. Universal Waste.

Household Hazardous Waste. Any solid waste generated in a household by a consumer which, except for the exclusion provided in 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) §261.4(b)(1), would be classified as a hazardous waste under 40 CFR Part 261 Landfill - Any facility or area of land receiving Municipal Solid Waste and operating under the regulation and authority of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ("TCEQ") within the State of Texas, or the appropriate governing agency for landfills located outside the State of Texas. Includes sanitary landfills permitted or approved by all appropriate governmental agencies having jurisdiction and requiring such licenses, franchises, permits or approvals to receive for processing or final disposal Municipal Solid Waste and dead animals.

Household Hazardous Waste. Hazardous Waste inadvertently collected, including Customer address (if known), quantity and type of material, and final disposition of Hazardous Waste.
Household Hazardous Waste. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) includes handling, removal and collection of propane tanks, paint, pesticides and other materials that are prohibited items from disposal in Subtitle D landfills and Class I disposal sites. The Contractor will segregate these items from vegetative and C/D debris and load and transport the HHW to a collection site identified by the Owner within approximately 50-miles of the City limits. Disposal will be the responsibility of Owner. No disposal is included in this line item. The HHW will be segregated in the field and hauled in concentrated loads. Payment under this item will be per pound.
