Housing and Spatial Development. ‌ Improving living standards and combating poverty is the Cabinet’s main goal for the Caribbean Netherlands9. This is a major task and requires the commitment of both the Central Government and the Public Entities. The Caribbean Netherlands Social Minimum Committee recommends the additional construction of social housing and the expansion of the subsidizing of rent as important tools for combating poverty and improving living standards10. This advice supports the measures included in the joint Policy Agenda Housing and Spatial Planning for the Caribbean Netherlands11. The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations/Social Housing and Spatial Planning, the Public Entity Saba and related partners have signed a Letter of Intent.   • Professional Development 9.01 Continuous professional development is a hallmark of professional nursing practice. As a self-regulating profession, nursing recognizes the importance of maintaining a dynamic practice environment which includes ongoing learning, the maintenance of competence, career development, career counselling and succession planning.
