HSE Conversation and Process Confirmations Sample Clauses

HSE Conversation and Process Confirmations. Australian Munitions operates under a Major Hazard Facility “MHF” certification at both Benalla and Mulwala. The safety culture, processes and performance has been the target of a continual improvement program since the acquisition of ADI from the government in 1999 and the 100% ownership by Thales in 2006. Australian Munitions and its employees value a safe work place and work as a team to ensure that the philosophy of “See more, Say more, Solve more” is embraced and delivers continued improvements on the journey to the world’s best practice in safety systems management. We are an organisation characterised by its culture of risk awareness. This includes, but is not limited to safety. Robust safety, environment, quality and explosive ordnance management systems, are key pillars of our management processes. Australian Munitions has a HSE Conversation and Process Confirmation program at Benalla and Mulwala focussing on safe people, safe process and sustainable practices. In broad terms, individuals will seek to observe a processor task and provide feedback (including both positive feedback as well as any suggestions on areas for improvement). The program requires all employees to complete at least one (1) HSE Conversation or Process Confirmation per quarter and submit a record of this (on the prescribed form) to the HSE Section. This program will have targets that will be tracked as one of the lead safety indicators. Management will provide lead and lag indicators and key safety information to the employees. This will demonstrate the performance of the business in health and safety (such things as HSE conversations, process confirmations, reporting of hazards, injury statistics and other general information). All parties to this Agreement endorse this program and the sharing of key HSE information which defines work place commitment to the HSE performance and will monitor this as part of site FCC meetings and facility HSE Committee meetings.
