COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. 14.1 Sending communication to you
(a) We may send all communication to you by leaving it at, or by sending it by ordinary post to, your last known address (whether within or outside Singapore and whether such address is a Post Office Box or is a place of residence or business) or by facsimile transmission to your facsimile number as may be provided to us or to our solicitors. Notwithstanding the above, we may also contact you via telephone, electronic mail, short message service provided by telecommunications providers, or such other means, to provide you with account related information (including informing you about your account payment status). You shall inform us upon receipt of communication that is garbled, incomplete or inaccurate or which is not intended for you and you agree to delete all such information from your equipment immediately
(b) You acknowledge that we will send Alerts to you via email and/or SMS and/or push notification to an email address and/or mobile number as provided by you (according to your Alerts preference), in real time or on a batched basis, and that in addition to the duties set out at Clause 19.8(b) below, you acknowledge and agree that:
(i) you will provide updated and accurate account contact details for us to send you Alerts (in accordance with your Alerts preferences);
(ii) you shall enable and monitor Alerts;
(iii) your receipt of Alerts is subject to other conditions not within our control including whether your internet and/or mobile phone operator is able to support the service;
(iv) We will not be liable for any loss damage suffered or incurred by you arising from or in connection with your failure to comply with any of your duties in relation to these Alerts or your failure to receive any Alerts.
(v) We will not be liable for or any failure, suspension, cessation, delay, disruption, errors, defects or fault in third party equipment, software, hardware, Internet, Internet browsers, online networks, Internet service providers, telecommunication service providers or other service providers, telecommunication, computer or other electronic equipment or system.
14.2 When communication deemed to be received by you
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. The provisions of clause 14 of this agreement shall apply to the parent, where appropriate.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. 14.1 COMMUNICATION We may send any notices, statements or any other communication to you by facsimile transmission, electronic mail, ordinary prepaid post or personal delivery to your last known address. Communication and notices sent by facsimile shall be considered to have been sent and received by you on the same day. Communication and notices sent by pre-paid mail shall be considered to have been delivered on the day immediately after the date of posting if sent by post in Singapore, and considered delivered five (5) days after the date of posting if sent outside of Singapore.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. Any Card (whether issued pursuant to an application or issued in renewal or replacement or any Card) and all Billing Statements, notices (including notification of any PIN or Security Procedure assigned to any Card or any cardmember and of any amendments to this Agreement) or demands from us or any document relating to or by which any legal proceeding against you is commenced by us may be sent to or served on you by leaving it at or by posting it to or dispatching it by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet to your Specified Address. Any such Card, statement, notice, demand or document so left at or sent or despatched to you shall be effective and deemed to have been received by you:
(a) when it is left at the Specified Address;
(b) on the day immediately following the date of despatch, if post; or
(c) immediately on despatch if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet, regardless of whether it is received by you or it is returned undelivered.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. 28.1 General communications and notices to the Cardholder shall be displayed on the Website, and it is the Cardholder’s responsibility to check regularly for such notices on the Website.
28.2 Specific notices or communication to the Cardholder shall be sent to his or her last known address by personal delivery, facsimile transmission, email, ordinary post and/or by SMS or in any manner as Merchantrade may deem fit.
28.3 Communication and notices displayed on the Website shall be considered to have been received by the Cardholder on the date of posting on the Website. Communication and notices sent by facsimile or electronic mail or SMS shall be considered to have been sent and received by the Cardholder on the same day. Communication and notices sent by ordinary post shall be considered to have been delivered three (3) calendar days after the date of posting if sent by post to an address within Malaysia, and considered delivered five (5) calendar days after the date of posting if sent outside of Malaysia.
28.4 The Cardholder hereby agrees that the service of any notices or any other legal process in respect of any claim arising from or connected with this Agreement may be effected on the Cardholder by sending a copy of the same by prepaid ordinary post to the Cardholder’s last known address and such postings shall be deemed good and sufficient service thereof on you whether or not the same shall be returned undelivered. Any failure by the Cardholder to notify any change of your address resulting in the delay or return of notices, correspondences, and legal process shall not prejudice the rights and entitlement of Merchantrade under this Agreement.

(a) Any Card (whether issued pursuant to an application or issued in renewal or replacement of any Card) and all Billing Statements, summaries of any Billing Statement, notices (including any amendments to this Agreement), demands from the Bank or any document relating to or by which any legal proceedings against the Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder is commenced by the Bank may be sent to or served on the Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder by leaving it at or by posting it to or despatching it by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet to the Business Cardmember’s mailing address / fax number / electronic mail last recorded with the Bank. Any such Card, statement, notice, demand or document so left at or sent or despatched to the Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder shall be effective and deemed to have been received by the Business Cardmember and/or Cardholder:
(i) when it was left at the mailing address, if left thereat;
(ii) on the day immediately following the date of despatch, if post;
(iii) immediately on despatch if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet, notwithstanding that it is not received by the Business Cardmember and /or Cardholder or returned undelivered.
(b) Any notice or amendment to this Agreement that is sent by the Bank to the Business Cardmember shall be considered to have been sent and received by the Cardholder at the same time.

14.2 When communication deemed to be received by you All communication is deemed to have been received by you on the date of delivery if it is delivered by hand; or on the date immediately after the date of posting if it is sent by post (notwithstanding that it may be returned to us undelivered); or at the time of transmission if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail and/or SMS.
14.3 Communication to us
(a) Unless otherwise provided in this agreement, all communication, requests and instructions from you may be personally delivered to us in writing; or sent by registered post, electronic mail or SMS to us in accordance with our prescribed verification procedure prevailing at the time.
(b) We may in good faith and without any liability to you, regard any communication given by you which are referable to you in accordance with our prescribed verifi cation procedure prevailing at that time as authentic and duly authorised and shall be under no obligation to investigate the authenticity or authority of persons sending or purporting to send the communication or to verify the accuracy and completeness thereof. We may, at our discretion, provide for additional security measures or verifi cation procedures, including but not limited to, specifi c electronic mail and/or SMS confi rmatory authorisation. The communication given by you to us shall be deemed to be irrevocable and binding on you notwithstanding that they may be given in error, lack clarity or reasonably capable of being misunderstood, inaccurate or incomplete. You shall inform us immediately upon your awareness of and/or knowledge of any communication which is unauthorised, given in error, forged, fraudulent, unclear or reasonably capable of being misunderstood, garbled, inaccurate or incomplete and rectify the same promptly.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. 19.1 Sending communication to Cardmember - The Bank may send any and all communications in respect of this Agreement, including without limitation marketing and promotional materials, to the Cardmember by any of the following means:
(a) facsimile transmission to the facsimile number as provided to the Bank by the Cardmember upon the Cardmember’s Application for the Card;
(b) electronic mail addressed to the electronic mail address provided to the Bank by the Cardmember upon the Cardmember’s application for the Card;
(c) by leaving it at or by sending it by ordinary post to the address as provided to the Bank by the Cardmember or to the Cardmember’s last known address in accordance with the Bank’s records; or
(d) any other means of electronic, internet-based and/or digital communications as may be provided for by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion upon notice to the Cardmember from time to time. The facsimile number, electronic mail address, residential/office address as mentioned above respectively shall be subject to any notice of change as may be provided by the Cardmember to the Bank in accordance with Clause 19.4.
19.2 When communication deemed to be received by the Cardmember - All communication is deemed to have been received by the Cardmember on the date of delivery if it is delivered by hand; or on the fifth (5th) day after the date of posting if it is sent by post (notwithstanding that it may be returned to the Bank undelivered) or on the date of transmission if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail and/or any other internet based and/or digital communications as may be provided for in accordance with Clause 19.1.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS. 20.1 General communications and notices to you shall be displayed on the Website and/or sent through your Mobile Application and it shall be your responsibility to regularly check the Website and for alerts from us for such notices that is sent to your Mobile Device.
20.2 Specific notices and communication to you shall be sent to your last known address by personal delivery, facsimile transmission, email, ordinary post and/or by SMS or in any manner as Merchantrade deems fit.
20.3 Communication, notices and/or any other information (as applicable) that we intend to convey to you whether displayed on the Website and/or through your Mobile Application shall be considered received by you on the date of posting on the Website or the time when it appears in your Mobile Application. Communication and notices sent by facsimile or electronic mail or SMS shall be considered to have been sent and received by you on the same day. Communication and notices sent by ordinary post shall be considered to be delivered three (3) calendar days after the date of posting if sent to an address within Malaysia and considered delivered five (5) calendar days after the date of posting if sent outside of Malaysia.
20.4 You hereby agrees that the service of any notices or any other legal process in respect of any claim arising from or connected with this Agreement may be affected on you by sending a copy of the same by prepaid ordinary post to your last known address and such postings shall be deemed good and sufficient service thereof on you whether or not the same shall be returned undelivered. Any failure by you to notify us of any change of your address resulting in the delay or return of notices, correspondences, and legal process shall not prejudice the rights and entitlement of Merchantrade under this Agreement.
