ILLNESS AND DISABILITY. 1. Each bargaining unit member shall be advanced two (2) sick days on their date of hire, and on July 1st of each year thereafter, and then shall be credited one (1) sick day per month thereafter for each month worked. Sick days may accumulate to one hundred fifty (150) days. Unused leave from the preceding year shall be credited on July 1. a. For accrual purposes, an employee must work more than half of the workdays in a given month. b. Employees are not allowed to “borrow” un-accrued sick leave. 2.
