Illness on Long Service Leave. 28.9 Subject to the requirements of 28.12, an Employee, who becomes ill or suffers an injury during long service leave and has an entitlement to sick leave, may apply to the Employer for the period of illness or injury to be treated as sick leave, with long service leave reaccredited to the Employee. The Employer may require the Employee to be examined by a registered medical practitioner of the Employer’s choice, provided the practitioner is reasonably accessible to the Employee.
