Impacts of Work by Others. The District, in its sole discretion, may: (i) enter into other contracts to provide for Work by Others in connection with the Project, or may perform any such Work by Others using its own forces and/or (ii) provide for phasing of various portions of the Project. The Contractor must ascertain for itself the overall scope and nature of the Project, the scope and nature of any Work by Others required to complete the Project and the potential impacts of any Work by Others on the coordination, timing, scheduling and performance of the Work, including, without limitation, the impacts of any phasing of the Project. The Contractor must accommodate all such potential impacts, and shall be deemed and construed to have accommodated all such potential impacts, when: (i) preparing the proposed Master Construction Schedule; (ii) coordinating, timing, and scheduling the Work; and (iii)

  • WORK BY OTHERS The Owner may perform additional Work related to the PROJECT by itself, or it may let other direct contracts which shall contain General Conditions similar to these. The CM will afford the other Contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or the Owner, if it is performing the additional Work itself), reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of the Work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his work with theirs. Should the Contract entail relocation of facilities not a part of this Contract, the CM will coordinate and cooperate with the applicable entity responsible for this portion of the work.

  • SUBCONTRACTING OF WORK If a Contractor chooses to subcontract the scheduled work, the prime Contractor is solely responsible to ensure that the subcontractor has the necessary insurance, licenses, ability to provide the contracted services and shall adhere to all requirements stated herein.

  • PROTECTION OF WORK 12.1 Subcontractor shall effectually secure and protect the work done hereunder and assume full responsibility for the condition thereof until final acceptance by the OWNER and Contractor. Subcontractor further agrees to provide such protection as is necessary to protect the work and the workmen of Contractor, the OWNER, and other subcontractors from its operations.

  • Statement of Work The Contractor shall provide the services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below:

  • CONTRACTING OF WORK (i) Grievances charging a violation of the Company's express commitments set forth in Paragraphs (168)(a), (b) and

  • Performance of Work by City If the Contractor fails to perform the Work in accordance with the schedule referred to in section 2 above, the City may, in its discretion, in order to bring the project closer to the schedule, perform or cause to be performed some or all of the Work, and doing so shall not waive any of the City’s rights and remedies. Before doing so, the City shall give the Contractor notice of its intention. The Contractor shall reimburse the City for additional costs incurred by the City in exercising its right to perform or cause to be performed some or all of the Work pursuant to this section.

  • MODIFICATIONS OF WORK The COUNTY reserves the right to make changes in the work, including alterations, reductions therein or additions thereto. Upon receipt by the CONTRACTOR of the COUNTY’S notification of a contemplated change, the CONTRACTOR shall (1) if requested by COUNTY, provide an estimate for the increase or decrease in cost due to the contemplated change, (2) notify the COUNTY of any estimated change in the completion date, and (3) advise the COUNTY in writing if the contemplated change shall affect the CONTRACTOR’S ability to meet the completion dates or schedules of this Contract. If the COUNTY so instructs in writing, the CONTRACTOR shall suspend work on that portion of the work affected by a contemplated change, pending the COUNTY’S decision to proceed with the change. If the COUNTY elects to make the change, the COUNTY shall issue a Contract Amendment or Change Order and the CONTRACTOR shall not commence work on any such change until such written amendment or change order has been issued and signed by each of the parties.

  • Xxxxx of Work The Contractor shall provide information technology (IT) independent verification and validation (IV&V) services to Customers in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the ((IT) IV&V services required by this Contract, and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them. All of the (IT) IV&V services to be furnished by the Contractor under the Contract shall meet the professional standard and quality that prevail among IT professionals in the same discipline and of similar knowledge and skill engaged in related work under the same or similar circumstances. The Contractor shall maintain during the term of the Contract all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance, and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the (IT) IV&V services.

  • Coordination of Work Licensee shall be responsible for coordination of its Equipment installation work to avoid any interference with existing utilities, substructures, facilities and/or SFMTA transit operations. Licensee shall be the City's point of contact for all Equipment installation and except in case of emergency, all communications concerning Equipment installation shall be through Licensee's field representatives.

  • CONDITIONS OF WORK 4.1 The Contractor shall carefully examine and study the conditions under which the Work is to be performed and the site of the Work, and compare the Contract Documents with each other and to information furnished by the University including but not limited to the plans and specifications, the form of the Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, General Requirements, Bonds and all other Contract Documents associated with the Work.
