Common use of Incidental Overtime Clause in Contracts

Incidental Overtime. For non-emergencies dispatches after 4:30 p.m. that might result in incidental overtime, the Area Managers, dispatch and the employees in a work group can mutually agree to written guidelines that will be used to determine which employee will be assigned the job, so long as the employee has the skill needed to perform the job and priority is given to the technician who is in close proximity to the job and is available.
