Inclement Weather Closing. Bargaining unit employees will be governed by the same inclement weather closing policy as other College Staff. If the President or his/her designee declares the “College closed,” employees who are required to report or remain at work, or are called-in during such a closing shall be paid double-time for all hours worked.

Where, because of inclement weather or other act of God, the entire Health Department is closed by the Controller and/or Board of Commissioner Chair, employees will be paid for their regularly scheduled hours without requirement to utilize annual leave. If less than the full Health Department is closed, employees who do not redeploy will be permitted to utilize compensatory, personal or vacation time in lieu of regular pay if compensation is desired.
