Inclement Weather Days. Employees shall not report to work when schools are closed for inclement weather. In an emergency situation (e.g. Board packet day) when an inclement weather closing occurs, an employee(s) may be called in to work if there is a supervisor present in the work location. Said employee(s) shall receive compensatory time off for the time worked.
Inclement Weather Days. When the Superintendent calls an Inclement Weather Day, employees will be paid for five (5) days if the school days are not required to be made up at the end of the year. If you are scheduled to work for the day you will get paid for the full day. In the event an employee is on paid leave, sick leave or bereavement leave during part or all of the school closure days as defined in this section, then the pay for the pay for the school closure time and that time on leave will not be charged against the employee's paid leave time.
Inclement Weather Days. A. The Administration Building and all school buildings will be open or closed at the direction of the District Superintendent.
Inclement Weather Days. Whenever a site served by the Agency is closed because of inclement weather or emergency situations, unit members who are scheduled to work that day, but because site is closed are unable to do so, shall be paid for the first day of the closure at full pay of their normal work assignment for that day. The Agency shall make reasonable attempts to provide affected employees temporary work locations until the site reopens.
Inclement Weather Days. If school must be canceled due to inclement weather or loss of heat or electricity, the day may need to be rescheduled. Any day of pupil instruction that needs to be rescheduled by the Board to ensure that the minimum number of days/hours are met in order to qualify for state aid or to meet mandated instructional time requirements imposed by the State Board of Education, shall not be a paid day of instruction.
Inclement Weather Days. Days missed due to inclement weather or emergency closures will be made up according to District policy HUM-A002, regardless of calendar notations. The District shall send the Association notice if changes are made to this policy.
Inclement Weather Days. Full-time hourly employees on inclement weather days shall receive time and one-half for the hours worked. As provided in Article XV H 4. Inclement Weather Days shall be defined as only those days that the majority of the teaching staff cannot work due to inclement weather conditions and students are not in attendance. If arriving late on inclement weather days, an employee may extend his/her shift in order to complete his/her full shift of work with approval of the superintendent or designee. If not reporting on an inclement weather day, an employee may elect to cover his/her absence with a vacation day; otherwise, the employee shall receive lost time.
Inclement Weather Days. A Bargaining Unit Member who does not report for work due to inclement weather conditions will have the privilege of charging such leave of absence to a personal day or vacation leave, if such days have not been used previously. If used previously, the member not so reporting to duty will be reduced in pay for such day or days when the College has not closed.
Inclement Weather Days. A day (minutes) is scheduled in the district calendar for a snow make up day. If additional snow makeup days (minutes) are needed, they will follow the last scheduled day of student classes. LABELING ALL POSSESSIONS Parents are encouraged to label all of their child’s school supplies. It is especially important to label your child’s outerwear and extra tennis shoes (for physical education classes).
Inclement Weather Days. The policy with respect to inclement weather shall be as issued from the office of the Superintendent. The policy stipulates that when the District schools are officially closed due to inclement weather, all staff is excused from duty with pay unless otherwise required.
