Individual Concerns. When a conflict occurs in a building, the employee shall first attempt to resolve the concern with his/her principal or supervisor before involving Association representation with Labor Management. The employee is encouraged to bring his/her LWEA building representative to said meeting. The principal or supervisor will have the opportunity to resolve the concern or complaint at the site level prior to involving Labor Management. Such discussion will attempt to resolve the issue without it being considered part of the formal grievance procedure. No adjustment of the complaint will be inconsistent with the terms of the Agreement.

Individual Concerns. Nothing in this Agreement will prevent any member of the School Committee from meeting privately with the Superintendent to discuss any matter either might wish to discuss. At any time prior to the public meeting at which the Committee members discuss and deliberate regarding the Superintendent’s performance, the Superintendent may schedule one or more individual and private meetings with each Committee member so that she may discuss with each member his or her own individual concerns, conclusions and findings concerning the Superintendent’s performance before they are shared with the Committee as a whole. To avoid misunderstandings and obtain input on relevant concerns from the Superintendent prior to public discussion, a committee member may raise in a public discussion any matter not first brought privately and individually to the attention of the Superintendent pursuant to this paragraph.
Individual Concerns. Nothing in this Agreement will prevent any member of the School Committees from meeting privately with the Superintendent to discuss any matter either might wish to discuss.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS In the worse case scenario, many environmental concerns must be addressed. Along with the police and fire marshal, the state environmental protection department will be on site to monitor the situation. Items to be concerned with in a large central office building could include:

  • Staffing Concerns Nurses, individually or as a group, believing there is an immediate workload/staffing problem should bring that problem to the attention of the supervisor or Nurse Manager as soon as the problem is identified. Nurses believing there is a continuous or potential workload/staffing problem, which may include the ability to receive rest periods and lunch breaks, should attempt to resolve the problem in discussions at the work unit level. Continuous or potential workload/staffing problems discussed at the work unit level that have not been resolved may be raised through the Joint Conference Committee. The Joint Conference Committee may determine that a unit- based work team would best address the workload/staffing problem raised. If the Joint Conference Committee makes that determination, a sub-committee consisting of an appropriate number of staff nurses who are from the unit and shift(s) experiencing the workload/staffing problem (appropriate number of staff nurses to be determined by the Joint Conference Committee), a WSNA representative and appropriate management staff will meet to discuss the problem raised. The sub-committee(s) shall report its results back to the Joint Conference Committee.

  • Individual Contract The individual contract, executed between each teacher and the Board is subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement. It is specifically agreed that this Article takes precedence over and governs the individual contract and the individual contract is expressly conditioned upon this Article.
