INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE RIGHTS. Nothing contained herein shall be construed to circumvent the right of the employee to take up a grievance with the employer and have the same settled without the intervention of the Union, provided the settlement is not inconsistent, with any of the provisions of this agreement.
