Common use of INDUSTRY FUND Clause in Contracts

INDUSTRY FUND. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Construction Industry Development and Promotion Fund (the “Industry Fund”) an hourly amount as set out in Schedule “A”, for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and it shall remit such contributions to the Union in the manner prescribed at Article 6.04.

INDUSTRY FUND. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Construction Industry Development and Promotion Fund (the “Industry Fund”) an hourly amount as set out in Schedule “A”, ” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, Agreement and it shall remit such contributions to the Union as set out in this Article. This fund is used for the promotion of the industry, to promote unionized construction, and for other purposes as determined by the Union to strengthen the position of the Union and its members in the manner prescribed at Article 6.04industry.
