Informal Observations. 1. An informal observation is a documented observation that is not required to be pre-scheduled. 2. An evaluator may conduct any number of informal observations. 3. Informal observations may occur at any time during the teacher workday. 4. Informal observations may be documented in writing and if documented, a copy will be provided to the teacher within five (5) days of the informal observation. If there is an area of concern based upon any such informal observation, the written documentation of the observation must be provided to the teacher in order for that evidence to be used in the evaluation process. 5. Any time after an informal observation a teacher may request a post-informal observation conference to discuss the informal observation. 6.
