Inherently Dangerous Conditions Prohibited. No Actor shall be required to perform any feat or act, which places Actor in imminent danger or is inherently dangerous, nor shall any Actor be required to perform in a costume or upon a set, which is inherently dangerous. It is not the intent of Equity to interfere with proper artistic judgments of the Producer but only to protect the Actor from injury, which may jeopardize or terminate a professional career. The Producer shall advise Equity as soon as possible when, in Producer’s judgment, there is a potentially dangerous situation. If Equity deems the situation to be one which should be prohibited by this section and the Producer does not agree, the matter shall be submitted for prompt consideration by an industry committee composed of the President of the League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers, or his/her designee, representing the League and the Executive Director of Equity, or his/her designee, representing Equity. If the two cannot agree, the matter shall promptly be submitted directly to arbitration.

Inherently Dangerous Conditions Prohibited. No Actor shall be required to rehearse or perform any feat or act which places the Actor in imminent danger or is inherently dangerous, nor shall any Actor be required to rehearse or perform in a costume or upon a set or under conditions which are inherently dangerous or which would jeopardize the Actor’s health. Equity shall have the right to make the final determination as to what is inherently dangerous.
Inherently Dangerous Conditions Prohibited. No Employee shall be required to rehearse or perform any feat or act which places the Employee in imminent danger or is inherently dangerous, nor shall any Employee be required to rehearse or perform in a costume or upon a set or under conditions which are inherently dangerous or which would jeopardize the Employee’s health. No Stage Manager shall be required to do work which places the Stage Manager in imminent danger or is inherently dangerous, nor shall any Stage Manager be required to work upon a set which is inherently dangerous. AGMA shall have the right of determination as to what is inherently dangerous. Should PAC NYC disagree with the determination, the parties shall meet to resolve the dispute.
