Common use of Injured at Work Clause in Contracts

Injured at Work. An employee who is injured during working hours, and is required to leave for treatment or is sent home for such injury shall receive payment for the remainder of the shift at the employee’s regular rate of pay without deduction from sick leave.

Injured at Work. An employee who is injured during working hours, and is required to leave for treatment or is sent home for such injury incident shall receive payment for the remainder of the shift at the employee’s regular rate of pay without deduction from sick leave. An employee who has received payment under this section shall receive pay for time necessarily spent for further medical treatment of the injury during regularly scheduled working hours, subsequent to the day of the accident.
