Injury or Illness Leave Reporting. Absence will be reported by the faculty/associate faculty member each day to the appropriate administrator before the usual reporting time except in an emergency. The faculty/associate faculty member will keep their administrator informed as to when they expect to return. When reasonably required by the District, faculty/associate faculty members will provide a health care provider's release to return to work or will provide reasonable verification of the reasons for any absence of more than one day. When reporting absence, associate faculty must indicate the exact number of scheduled work hours missed.
