Common use of Instant or summary dismissal Clause in Contracts

Instant or summary dismissal. Notwithstanding the provisions or sub-clause 37.1.1 hereof the company shall have the right to dismiss any employee without notice for conduct that justifies instant dismissal, including inefficiency or neglect of duty, dishonesty, misconduct or absence from work without reasonable cause, and in such cases the wages shall be paid up to the time of dismissal only. In this event, the provisions of sub-clause 37 .3 will not apply.
