Overtime/TOIL. 6.3.1 Overtime is defined as work in excess of ordinary hours or outside the spread of ordinary hours and in most cases is taken as time of in lieu on an hour for hour basis except as defined under clause 5.5. 6.3.2 A record will be kept of time off in lieu of overtime accumulated at the end of each fortnight. 6.3.3 Time off in lieu should be taken on the working day following the extra duty or as soon as practical thereafter. The taking of one day or more of TOIL will be approved by the relevant supervisor or Manager. 6.3.4 The accumulation of time off in lieu must not exceed 38 hours or pro-rata for part- time employees, without the written approval of the Manager.

(b) Overtime taken as time off during ordinary-time hours shall be taken at the Overtime rate. (c) If, having elected to take time as leave in accordance with sub-clause 23.6(a) above, the leave is not taken for whatever reason, payment for time accrued at Overtime rates shall be made at the expiry of the one (1) month period or on termination. (d) Where no election is made in accordance with sub-clause 23.6(a), the Employee shall be paid Overtime rates in accordance with the Agreement. 23.7 Where Overtime is required to be worked, Overtime shall be offered in the first instance to permanent Employees of HCL who have the necessary skills, qualifications, and training records to complete the tasks required for the Overtime. Preference will be given to those staff that are willing to perform Overtime during the week (i.e. Monday to Friday).
Overtime/TOIL. 16.6.1 Entitlement to Payment for Overtime levels 1 to 5 only a). An employee shall be entitled to overtime where the employee works more than 76 hours in any 14 day period or where the employee works more than 8 hours or 10 hours by mutual agreement in any one day, with the prior approval of management, in accordance with Clause 16.2. No additional time and/or overtime will be paid for unless with prior approval of management. b). A part-time employee shall be entitled to overtime if they work in excess c). A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime where they work more than 76 hours in any fortnight or where the employee works more than 10 hours in any day. d). An employee who works so much overtime between the termination of ordinary work on one day and the commencement of work on the next day, that the employee has not had at least Ten (10) consecutive hours off duty between those times shall, subject to this subclause, be released after completion of such overtime until the employee has had ten consecutive hours off duty, without loss of pay, for ordinary working time occurring during such absence. If on the instructions of FSG Australia such employee resumes or continues work without having had such ten consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid double rates until released from duty for such period and the employee shall be entitled to be absent until receiving ten consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary working time occurring during such absence e). For the purpose of this clause, no overtime pay or time in lieu will be granted unless with prior approval of management.
Overtime/TOIL. 6.3.1 All authorised time worked by employees in excess of the ordinary hours of 76 hours per fortnight, or pro-rata for part-time employees, shall be deemed overtime. 6.3.2 Time off will be granted in lieu of payment of overtime for all authorised time worked by employees on the following basis: 6.3.2.1 Any time worked from 6.01 pm to 7.59 am Monday to Friday shall accrue time credits at the rate of 150% (i.e. 1.5 hours for each hour worked). 6.3.2.2 Any time worked on Saturdays shall accrue time credits at the rate of 150% (i.e. 6.3.2.3 Any time worked on Sundays and Public Holidays shall accrue time credits of 200% (i.e. 2 hours for each hour worked). 6.3.2.4 Any time other than defined above at the rate of 100% (i.e. 1.0 hour for each hour worked). 6.3.3 Time off in lieu should be taken on the working day following the extra duty or as soon as practical thereafter, provided that where this it not possible, the approval of the Designated Manager is sought, for the accumulation of time off in lieu to a maximum of 38 hours or pro- rata for part-time employees. 6.3.4 The maximum accumulation of time off in lieu of overtime credits will be 38 hours or pro- rata for part-time employees with Employees to maintain ongoing records and have entitlements confirmed by the Employer.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2.
