Internal Controls The Company shall maintain a system of internal accounting controls sufficient to provide reasonable assurances that: (i) transactions are executed in accordance with management’s general or specific authorization; (ii) transactions are recorded as necessary in order to permit preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and to maintain accountability for assets; (iii) access to assets is permitted only in accordance with management’s general or specific authorization; and (iv) the recorded accountability for assets is compared with existing assets at reasonable intervals and appropriate action is taken with respect to any differences.
Portability of Sick Leave 1. The employer will accept up to sixty (60) accumulated sick leave days from other school districts in British Columbia, for employees hired to or on exchange in the district.

Internal Control Effective control and accountability must be maintained for all cash, real and personal property, and other assets. Portability of Service An employee hired by the Hospital with recent and related experience may claim consideration for such experience at the time of hiring on a form to be supplied by the Hospital. Any such claim shall be accompanied by verification of previous related experience. The Hospital shall then evaluate such experience during the probationary period following hiring. Where in the opinion of the Hospital such experience is determined to be relevant, the employee shall be slotted in that step of the wage progression consistent with one (1) year's service for every one (1) year of related experience in the classification upon completion of the employee's probationary period. It is understood and agreed that the foregoing shall not constitute a violation of the wage schedule under the collective agreement."
Financial Management, Financial Reports and Audits 1. The Recipient shall maintain or cause to be maintained a financial management system in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.09 of the General Conditions.
Local Number Portability Database 10.6.1 The Permanent Number Portability (PNP) database supplies routing numbers for calls involving numbers that have been ported from one local service provider to another. BellSouth agrees to provide access to the PNP database at rates, terms and conditions as set forth by BellSouth and in accordance with an effective FCC or Commission directive.
Financial Management; Financial Reports; Audits 1. The Recipient shall ensure that a financial management system is maintained in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.07 of the Standard Conditions.
Internal Practices To make Business Associate’s internal practices, books and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from County, or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of County, available to County or to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in a time and manner designated by County or by the Secretary, for purposes of determining County compliance with the HIPAA regulations.
