PROFESSIONAL WEAR. 33.01 The Company will provide an annual credit of $200 for the life of the agreement for the purchase of approved garments through the Company authorized vendor to employees in those classifications which the Company deems appropriate. New hires in those classifications may receive additional uniform garments or a higher initial credit. The color, style, and material blend of employee work clothing will be determined by the Company for both uniform and non-uniform garments. 33.02 Employees will be required to wear uniform and non-uniform garments that are, in the Company’s judgment, properly maintained and presentable. The wearing of uniforms will be mandatory during all work hours. Regular and all appropriate maintenance of an employee’s uniform is the responsibility of the employee. 33.03 A pin, not to exceed 1 ½ inches in diameter designating affiliation with the CWA, may be worn with the uniform. This pin will not cover the Company logo. 33.04 The Company shall have the unilateral right to modify, amend, or cease the uniform program at any time.

Local union representatives will be allowed to wear appropriate union branded apparel, provided by the local while conducting union/company grievance meetings. Replacement of uniform garments damaged on the job as opposed to normal wear/tear on the job will be the responsibility of the Company. Employees will be responsible for the full Company cost of replacing uniform garments should they be lost, stolen, or damaged through neglect. A pin, not to exceed 1-1/2 inches in diameter designating affiliation with the CWA and not derogatory of the Company or its personnel, may be worn with the uniform. This pin may be worn only on the uniform shirt or CenturyLink headwear. PROFESSIONAL WEAR. Effective January 1, 2007, R the CWA 3176 bargaining associates will be provided up to $275 annually for the purchase of uniform garments and will be permitted to order any garment from the approved uniform package. Any amount beyond the allotment will be the R responsibility of the associate. Should a garment no longer present a professional image due to normal wear/tear associated with the employee’s work, it may be changed out with prior management approval at the Company’s expense. Associates may wear jeans as a substitute for Cintas provided uniform pants at their own expense with the following provisions. A. Associates who purchase uniform pants at the Company’s expense will not be permitted to substitute blue jeans for a period of one year from the date of uniform pants purchase. B. Blue jeans substituted for uniform pants must be properly maintained, e.g., they create a reasonable appearance as determined by the Company, i.e., no holes, patches, etc. C. Employees are expected to use reasonable judgment when determining if business casual or uniform pants should be worn in lieu of blue jeans. The Company retains the right to restrict Business Technicians from wearing blue jeans. D. Associates who desire to substitute charcoal/light grey denim pants from manufacturers other than Cintas may do so at their own expense. E. Color, style, and material blend of clothing will be determined by the Company. The Company logo and the employee's first name (or acceptable derivative in the Company's discretion) may be required on the shirts and/or jacket. F. The Company may, at any reasonable time, R require the return of any part of the uniform. Company uniforms which have been in the care of an employee who is terminating from the Company must be returned on that employee's last working day, or the employee must pay the Company original purchase price for all missing garments. This cost will be deducted from the employee's final paycheck. G. Replacement of uniform garments damaged through normal wear on the job will be the responsibility of the Company. The Company, in its sole discretion, and in accordance with OSHA standards, will identify employees who will be required to wear safety footwear. Employees identified as needing safety footwear will be required to wear safety footwear at all times when performing their work assignments. Those employees will have the choice of wearing steel toe or composite toe safety footwear as long as it meets the current national standard. A pin, not to exceed 1 1/2 inches in diameter designating affiliation with the CWA and not derogatory of the Company or its personnel, may be worn with the uniform. The Company reserves the right to amend, modify or discontinue the Professional Wear Program at its sole discretion. 7. The Company will determine which job classifications will be required to wear safety-toe footwear determined by exposure and need based on PPE analysis. Footwear that is eligible for reimbursement must meet the minimum requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z41.1 standard concerning safety-toe footwear. The ANSI Z41.1 standard divides footwear into three classes based on its ability to meet the minimum requirements for both compression and impact. Safety-toe footwear required for Company use must meet the minimum requirements of Class 75. A Class 75 is capable of supporting a static load of 2,500 pounds with impact strength of 75 foot pounds. Employees required to wear safety-toe footwear may receive a $100.00 reimbursement during each year of the R contract. Employees may receive reimbursement by submitting an approved expense report along with a receipt of purchase.

The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses

  • Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part-time Nurses who are elected to the College of Nurses to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses. Professional leave without pay will be granted to Registered Nurses who are elected to the RNAO to attend regularly scheduled meetings. Professional leave without pay will be granted to Registered Practical Nurses who are elected to the RPNAO to attend regularly scheduled meetings.

  • Professional Improvement Leave A teacher may be granted leave to be used for the teacher's professional improvement. Professional improvement days may be approved by the superintendent and used for the purpose of: 1. Visitation to view other instructional techniques or programs. 2. Conferences, workshops, or seminars conducted by colleges, universities, or vocational schools. The teacher planning to use a professional improvement day shall notify the principal at least one week in advance of the proposed absence. The teacher shall be required to file a written report with the principal within one (1) week of attendance at such event. Also, the teacher may/shall be requested to return with materials and/or information to be shared with other teachers. The expense of attending such visitation, conference, workshop, or seminar will be paid by the Board when the proper reimbursement applications are sent to the district office. In cases where attendance at a convention, workshop, seminar, or other educational activity is deemed to be of value only to the individual teacher, leave may be granted for attendance with either no expenses or limited expenses being underwritten by the district. In these cases, no written or verbal reports will be required.

  • Professional Services Warranty 5.1 Oracle warrants that Professional Services will be provided in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Customer must notify Oracle of any warranty deficiencies within 60 days from performance of the deficient Professional Services. 5.2 ORACLE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED ERROR- FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT ORACLE WILL CORRECT ALL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ERRORS, OR THAT THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WILL MEET CUSTOMER’S REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS. ORACLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES RELATED TO THE PERFORMANCE, OPERATION OR SECURITY OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT ARISE FROM CUSTOMER DATA OR THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES. 5.3 FOR ANY BREACH OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WARRANTY, CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND ORACLE’S ENTIRE LIABILITY SHALL BE THE CORRECTION OF THE DEFICIENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT CAUSED THE BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR, IF ORACLE CANNOT SUBSTANTIONALLY CORRECT THE DEFICIENCY IN A COMMERCIALLY REASONABLE MANNER, CUSTOMER MAY END THE DEFICIENT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND ORACLE WILL REFUND TO THE CUSTOMER THE FEES FOR THE TERMINATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT CUSTOMER PRE-PAID TO ORACLE FOR THE PERIOD FOLLOWING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF TERMINATION. 5.4 TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, INCLUDING FOR SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, SYSTEMS, NETWORKS OR ENVIRONMENTS OR FOR MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
