INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY.
10.1 Distributor may interrupt supply We may interrupt the supply of energy to your premises where permitted under the energy laws, including for a distributor planned interruption or where there is an unplanned interruption or in accordance with the conditions of any applicable tariff or under a contract with your retailer.
10.2 Distributor planned interruptions (maintenance, repair, etc)
(a) We may make distributor planned interruptions to the supply of energy to the premises under the
(i) for the maintenance, repair or augmentation of the transmission system or the distribution system, including maintenance of metering equipment; or
(ii) for the installation of a new connection or a connection alteration to another customer.
(b) If your energy supply will be affected by a distributor planned interruption and clause 6.4(d)(iii) does not apply:
(i) we may seek your explicit consent to the interruption occurring on a specified date; or
(ii) we may seek your explicit consent to the interruption occurring on any day within a specified 5
(iii) otherwise, we will give you at least 4 business days notice of the interruption by mail, letterbox drop, press advertisement or other appropriate means.
10.3 Unplanned interruptions
(a) We may interrupt the supply of energy to your premises in circumstances where we consider that a customer’s energy installation or the distribution system poses an immediate threat of injury or material damage to any person, property or the distribution system, including:
(i) for unplanned maintenance or repairs;
(ii) for health or safety reasons;
(iii) in an emergency;
(iv) as required by a relevant authority;
(v) to shed demand for energy because the total demand at the relevant time exceeds the total supply available; or
(vi) to restore supply to a customer.
(b) If an unplanned interruption is made, we will use our best endeavours to restore energy supply to the premises as soon as possible.
(c) We will make information about unplanned interruptions (including the nature of any emergency and, where reasonably possible, an estimate of when energy supply will be restored) available on a 24 hour telephone information service.
10.4 Your right to information about interruptions
(a) If you request us to do so, we will use our best endeavours to explain:
(i) an interruption to the supply of energy to the premises; or
(ii) a supply of energy to the premises of a quality in breach of any relevant standards under the energy laws.

(i) for the maintenance, repair or augmentation of the transmission system or the distribution system, including maintenance of metering equipment; or
(ii) for the installation of a new connection or a connection alteration to another customer.
(b) If your energy supply will be affected by a distributor planned interruption and clause 6.4(d)(iii) does not apply:
(i) we may seek your explicit consent to the interruption occurring on a specified date; or
(ii) we may seek your explicit consent to the interruption occurring on any day within a specified 5 business day range; or
(iii) otherwise, we will give you at least 4 business days notice of the interruption by mail, letterbox drop, press advertisement or other appropriate means.
INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY. 5.1 The Distributor may interrupt or reduce the conveyance of electricity to any Consumer's Point of Supply at any time the Distributor reasonably considers it appropriate in accordance with Good Industry Practice:
(a) to enable the Distributor to inspect, effect alterations, maintenance, repairs or additions to any part of the Distribution Network; or
(b) to avoid the risk of danger to persons, damage to property or other interference with the conveyance of electricity through the Distribution Network; or
(c) in case of emergency, to preserve and protect the proper working of the Distribution Network; or
(d) to effect the Load Management Service as specified in Schedule 4; or
(e) by the automatic low frequency-initiated tripping of specified 11kV feeders in the event that the integrity of the Transpower Network is endangered; or
(f) in response to an event of Force Majeure.
5.2 Where the Distributor interrupts the conveyance of electricity to any Consumer pursuant to Clause (5.1) (a), (b), (c), (e) or (f) the Distributor shall:
(a) if the interruption is unplanned, as soon as is practicable give to the Retailer written notice by facsimile of the area affected by and reasons for the interruption and its expected duration. ;
(b) use reasonable endeavours to minimise the period of interruption; and
(c) act in accordance with Good Industry Practice.
5.3 Where the Retailer notifies the Distributor that the Retailer’s load is able to be managed, the Distributor shall operate the Load Management Services on the basis, which appears as Schedule 4 in this Agreement for the following purposes:
(a) to alleviate distribution constraints and manage demand for electricity at Grid Connection Points;
(b) to reduce the Distribution Network load in the event of emergencies occurring on the Distribution Network or on the Transpower Network or in the event of inadequate generation capacity being available to meet demand; and
(c) where requested by the Retailer, provided that the Retailer meets the Distributor’s reasonable costs for providing such Load Management Service.
5.4 The Retailer shall advise the Distributor of any defect or interruption to the electricity supply or other Distribution Network abnormality reported to the Retailer by a Consumer as detailed in Schedule 6.

INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY. The Council may wholly or partially suspend, interrupt or reduce the supply of reWater under this Agreement:
7.1 due to circumstances of unusual drought or any event or cause beyond the reasonable control of the Council which precludes the Council from supplying reWater in accordance with this Agreement;
7.2 for modifications to the Council’s Infrastructure, routine maintenance or emergency repairs or maintenance of the Council’s Infrastructure;
7.3 if in the Council’s opinion the Customer’s Infrastructure is not functioning correctly or is defective;
7.4 if the Council is required to do so by any Government Agency that has authority to impose such a requirement on the Council;
7.5 if the Customer is in breach of this Agreement;
7.6 to connect a new customer to the Council’s Infrastructure; or
7.7 if, in the Council’s reasonable opinion, maintenance of that supply would:
7.7.1 expose the Council or the Customer to any risk of loss or damage;
7.7.2 place the Council or the Customer in breach of any Law or Authorisation held by that party; or
7.7.3 give rise to a material risk of harm, loss or injury to any person or property.
7.8 Provided that the Council must, as far as is reasonably practicable:
7.8.1 undertake such maintenance at a time least likely to inconvenience the Customer; and
7.8.2 notify the Customer of such proposed suspension or interruption.
INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY. You agree that we may temporarily interrupt the supply of energy to your Supply Address for the purpose of installation, maintenance, repair or replacement of a Digital Meter. If your energy supply will be affected, we’ll give you prior notice of this if it is reasonably practicable or we’re required by the relevant Codes and Guidelines to do so.
INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY. Stable Supply as Fundamental Condition
13.1 (a) Wesfarmers expressly acknowledges that, without derogating from the provisions of this Agreement providing for termination and suspension, it is a fundamental expectation of Stanwell that this Agreement will provide Stanwell with a stable supply of Coal (complying with the quality characteristics provided in this Agreement) for use in the Power Station and that it was on the basis of Wesfarmers’ representations of its ability to provide such stable supply as specified herein that Stanwell agreed to enter this Agreement with Wesfarmers.
INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY. (a) Sometimes, we may need to interrupt your electricity supply, including:
(i) to install, test, repair, maintain, exchange, alter, replace or remove your electricity meter;
(ii) in an emergency;
(iii) for health and safety reasons; or
(iv) due to any circumstances beyond our reasonable control or where otherwise permitted under the Regulatory Requirements.
(b) We will use reasonable endeavours to keep you informed if this occurs, and we will follow any notice requirements set out in the Regulatory Requirements.
(c) Your Distributor may also need to interrupt your electricity supply. If this happens, your Distributor is responsible for providing you notice in accordance with the Regulatory Requirements, and to the extent permitted by law, you agree that we are not liable for such interruption.
