Investigator Standby Pay. On-duty investigators who are required to be available and subject to call shall receive a Responder duty allowance. See Appendix A.8
Investigator Standby Pay. 20.1 The City may, at its discretion, require a Deputy Fire Marshal to remain "On-Call" for a period of time. When the City requires an employee to be "On-Call", the City shall compensate the employee with ten (10) hours of compensatory time for each month while so assigned. Normally, a Deputy Fire Marshal will be assigned to a specific departmental shift for standby duties.
