JAP objectives. The main objective of the JAP is the development of an interregional strategy for consolidating and developing the RES implementation policies. Therefore, this common Action Plan has the objective of maximising the exploitation of results coming from the local research communities in the field of RES. In this regard, it is expected a more accelerated economic benefit from RES implementation through a more integrated relation among public, research and industrial/business sectors. The JAP will ensure the necessary coordination and consistency in implementing RES policies and concerted research strategies at regional level, including the financial resources used for the foreseen activities. The general objectives of the JAP are: ▪ to adapt and to strengthen the Research, Development and Innovation (R&D+I) public policies, especially policies for or related to the RES sector, ▪ to promote, diversify and specialize in R&D+I activity in the RES sector, ▪ to xxxxxx the transfer R&D+I knowledge in the RES sector, ▪ to increase the awareness in RES technologies and their benefits among public, research and business sector, ▪ to increase the implementation of RES technologies in the regions, ▪ to exchange experiences between the participating regions and countries. The JAP aims to achieve these general objectives through the development of common actions and methodologies among the INRES regions.
