Job Search Allowance. A redundant employee shall be entitled to the payment of a job search allowance of up to the rate set out in Table 2 to meet expenses associated with seeking other employment subject to proof of expenditure or on production of an invoice, and/or other appropriate documentation. The employee’s entitlement to claim the job search allowance is limited to a period of up to 12 months from their termination of service with Council or until the employee secures alternative employment, whichever is the sooner.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement of up to a maximum of eighty five ($85.00) dollars per year, for purchasing or repairing, safety shoes for full-time employees who have completed their probationary period and are required by the Employer to wear safety shoes. The style and colour of the shoes must be approved by the Employer. Employees in the following classifications and/or departments are eligible to avail themselves of the shoe allowance: Banquet Culinary Guest Services Housemen/Housepersons Fairmont Lounge Housekeeping In Room Dining Laundry Stewarding Velvet Glove Front Desk Employees will receive said amount so long as the shoes are worn on the job. Upon providing the Employer in ample time- at least twenty four (24) hours before the date of the pay period ending, of proof of either purchase or repair, payment will be made on the pay period following.

  • Travelling Allowance Where an employee is required to attend or conduct a clinic away from their base hospital, or attend to employer business away from their base hospital, the employer shall, wherever possible, pay all accommodation and travel costs (i.e. the employee shall not be required to pay for such expenses and get reimbursed at a later date). Employees shall be entitled, with prior approval, to claim any actual and reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • CAR ALLOWANCE The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Moving Allowance (a) When an employee is displaced under the provisions of this Title because of lack of work at his/her headquarters, and the employee’s new headquarters is beyond commutable distance from his/her residence, Company shall reimburse the employee for the reasonable costs incurred in connection with moving his/her household in a sum not to exceed $2,400.   • Travel Allowance 18.01 The existing Board travel allowance shall be paid to an Occasional Teacher. This shall only apply when replacing an itinerant teacher.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.
