Juneteenth Day. Less-than-twelve-month employees who choose to take spring break off as unpaid shall receive one (1) eight-hour workday of holiday credit for Xxxxx Xxxxxx Xxx (pro-rated for less-than-full-time employees). This holiday credit must be used by May 15 based on mutual agreement between the employee and the supervisor. The workday may not be broken up into hourly segments and the holiday credit may not carry over to the next fiscal year.

Juneteenth Day. Subject to and conditioned upon similar amendments being made and becoming effective with respect to Section 6-6-1, P.M.C., and the City’s collective bargaining agreements with the International Association of Fire Fighters Local No. 3 and International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 537, Juneteenth Day (June 19th) shall be recognized as a declared holiday in addition to those designated in Section 1 of this Article.
