Holiday Credit. When a holiday occurs during an Employee's assigned vacation, and the Employee is otherwise entitled to the holiday, it shall not be counted as part of the Employee's vacation time.
Holiday Credit a. Holiday credit will be used and scheduled by the employee in the same manner as vacation leave in Article 11. Holiday credit must be used before vacation leave unless doing so would cause the employee to exceed the two hundred forty (240) hour vacation leave accrual limit.
b. Holiday Credit Cash Out. All holiday credit must be used by June 30th of each year. The employee’s holiday credit balance will be cashed out every June 30th or when the employee leaves University employment for any reason. The employee’s holiday credit balance may be cashed out when the employee:
i. Transfers to a position in their department with different funding sources or, ii. Transfers to a position in another department.
Holiday Credit. Part-time employees will receive credit at a rate of 4.75 hours per holiday, not to exceed the contracted hours per week. Full-time employees will receive credit at a rate of 8 hours per holiday, not to exceed the contracted hours per week.
Holiday Credit. A. Full time Xxxx 00 employees required to work on a holiday, shall receive eight (8) hours of holiday credit.
B. Employees (full-time, part-time, and alternate work schedule) shall receive holiday credit in accordance with Section 8.1 H when their regular day off falls on a holiday.
Holiday Credit. In order to receive credit for a holiday, an employee must be in paid status during any portion of the workday of their normal assignment immediately preceding or succeeding the holiday.
Holiday Credit. The City agrees to value each employee's allotted thirteen (13) holidays at thirteen (13) hours per holiday.
Holiday Credit. (1) Employees may accrue holiday credit up to a maximum of eighty (80) hours. All accrued holiday time in excess of eighty (80) hours in any bi-weekly pay period shall be paid to the employee at their straight- time hourly rate.
(2) While employee preference shall be considered, the granting and scheduling of days off shall be at the discretion and needs of the appointing authority or designated representative. Furthermore, due to the operational needs of the departments, split holiday accrual may be taken only at the discretion of the appointing authority or designated representative.
Holiday Credit. Employees shall be given credit for holidays in the accumulation of hours toward overtime or compensatory time, provided that they also work or are on scheduled leave or compensated sick leave on the work day immediately before and after the holiday.
Holiday Credit. Holiday credit will be used and scheduled by the nurse in the same manner as vacation time off.
Holiday Credit. Each July 1, an employee who has worked the preceding twelve (12) months and who has used no more than twenty (20) hours of sick leave will be credited with one saved holiday. Days will be pro-rated for employees regularly scheduled to work .5 through .99
