Juniors. (a) The minimum rates of wages for junior employees are the percentages of the rates prescribed for the appropriate adult classification for the work performed for the area in which such junior is working: Age Percentage of Adult Rate 16 years and under 50% 17 years 60% 18 years 70% 19 years 85% 20 years 100% Junior rates do not apply to Cleaning employees. Other junior employees may request to be paid adult rates and will be assessed under a formal documented process to establish their ability to satisfactorily and consistently carry out the position requirements.
