Common use of Jury Duty and Court Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Court Subpoena. Any employee summoned to jury duty or issued a court subpoena shall be paid full salary/wages for each working day of absence, provided that the employee pays the District the jury fee or witness fee. This provision is not applicable if the employee is a witness against the District, the Board, or its representative as the result of any legal actions commenced by or on behalf of the employee, the employee’s representative association(s), its agents or members.
