Effective Dates for Pay and Benefit Increases. Placement on the Certified Staff Salary schedule occurs in August with the first pay period of the school year. All other wage, salary, and benefit increases take effect at the beginning of each fiscal year, July 1. Additional benefit increases that occur after July 1 shall be reflected in pay as soon as they are applicable. For example, an increase in the monthly individual health insurance premium will result in increase in board contribution as paid to those enrolled in the district’s health insurance program or to those otherwise receiving equitable compensation as outlined in VI.L as soon as the premium increase takes effect.

  • TEACHER TEACHING ON CALL PAY AND BENEFITS 1. The employer will ensure compliance with vacation provisions under the Employment Standards Act in respect of the payment of vacation pay.

  • Effective Date of Wages and Benefits All non-compensatory provisions, wages and benefits shall be effective from Date of Ratification unless otherwise specified in this Collective Agreement.

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Unpaid Meal Periods The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements required by WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible, taking into account the Employer’s work requirements and the employee’s wishes. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Supplemental Compensation Pursuant to Section 7 of the Agreement, Supplemental Compensation will be paid as follows:

  • Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.

  • Effective Date of Benefits Your coverage will become effective on your date of eligibility, provided you are actively at work on a full time basis. If you are not actively at work on the date insurance would normally commence, coverage will begin on your return to work full time for full pay.

  • Extended Benefits If you are disabled on the date your healthcare coverage ends, your benefits will be temporarily extended for any continuous loss, which commenced while your coverage was in force. The services provided under this benefit are subject to all terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions listed in this agreement, and the care you receive must relate to or arise out of the disability you had on the day your healthcare coverage ended. Extended benefits apply only to the subscriber who is disabled. If you want to receive coverage for continued care when your coverage ends, you must provide us with proof that you are disabled. We will make a determination whether your condition constitutes a disability and you will have the right to appeal our determination or to take legal action. The extension of benefits will end upon the earliest of the following events: • the continuous disability ends; or • twelve (12) months from the termination date; or • payment of the benefit limits under this plan.

  • Effective Date of Increase Price increases shall be effective upon final approval by the State, and may not be posted on the pricelist prior to receipt of final approval.
