Common use of Jury Duty and Court Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Court Subpoena. Teachers summoned to jury duty or issued a court subpoena shall be paid full salary for each working day of absence provided that the teacher pays the District the jury fee or witness fee, not including payments for mileage or other expenses. This provision is not applicable if the teacher is a witness against the School District, the Board of Education, or its representatives.
