The employee must present proof of such service and the amount of pay received from the Court. If the employee is on the afternoon shift, he will be excused from work the day on which he is required to serve. If on the night shift, he will be excused from work each shift before he is required to serve. An employee who is required to serve on jury duty or required to serve as a witness on a paid holiday(s) or vacation day(s), will be granted an additional day(s) off. Such additional day(s) off will be taken within five (5) calendar days of completion of the jury duty or Witness or within five (5) working days of completion of the plant shutdown.
