Common use of Jury Duty and Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Witness. a) Where an employee has received a subpoena to appear as a witness in a case to which he is not a party or has been called upon to act as a juror during one of his scheduled working days, he shall receive the difference between the indemnity paid to him as a witness or as a juror and the salary he would normally have earned if he had worked his regular scheduled hours on the said day.
