Common use of Jury Duty and Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Witness. Employees shall be granted leave with full pay any time they are required to report for jury duty or jury service or as a witness except if they are a party in or have a vested interest in the case. All jury fees and witness fees, except mileage allowance, will be remitted to the County in instances where the employee has been granted leave with full pay. If an employee is excused or dismissed prior to the mid-point of their regular shift, he/she shall report for work.
