Common use of Jury Duty/Grand Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Grand Jury Duty. Any full-time or part-time employee on any shift or work schedule shall be granted leave with pay for actual time spent on jury service and grand jury service and in related travel, not to exceed the number of hours in the employee's normal work day and the employee's normal workweek. Upon request, the University will endeavor to accommodate an employee's summons to jury duty with a change in shift assignment.
